Liquid is an audiovisual project developed by Tamires Garcia in image capture and editing, and Philip Wrixton
in sound production. The artwork came through the idea of expressing the fragility of human bonds
 in images, words and sound.

The video is based on the feeling caused by the unmet expectations that we expect from the other, and the resistance
we feel in the face of feelings that we don't know how to sustain.

This artwork was inspired by Zygmunt Bauman, one of the most original and insightful sociologists in history, who investigates how our relationships become increasingly "flexible", generating ever-increasing levels of insecurity.

"A world full of confusing signals, prone to change quickly and unpredictably" in which we live. It brings with it a
mysterious fragility of human bonds, a liquid love.
The priority to relationships in networks, which can be created or dismantled with equal ease - and often without this involving any contact beyond the virtual - means that we no longer know how to maintain long-term ties, and not just love relationships and family ties are affected, but also our ability to treat a stranger humanely is harmed.

With his usual fine and refined perception, Bauman seeks to clarify, record and understand how the man without ties

 - central figure of modern times - connects.
